Your profile

What you should bring to the role:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable IT-related discipline, as well as approximately 2–4 years’ professional experience in data science, data engineering or analytics projects.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as practical experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g. using Airflow, dbt or Spark).
  • Practical experience with at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP), as well as initial experience in the production deployment of ML models (MLOps) or data products (DataOps).
  • A sound understanding of statistics, experience in developing machine learning models, and practical exposure to GenAI/LLM applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in independently advising clients, and confidence in using visualisation/BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) to present results.
  • Good command of German and English for working on international projects.

An advantage, but not essential:

  • Experience with modern GenAI frameworks such as LangChain or RAG architectures (vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering).
  • Existing cloud certification (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP) or an interest in obtaining it whilst working with us.
  • Strong adaptability – you quickly find your feet in different client contexts and teams.
  • A solution-oriented approach, even under time pressure, and a willingness to take on technical responsibility in sub-projects.
  • Experience in handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Willingness to work on projects – we will discuss the exact terms and conditions together.
