Application Support Specialist / 1st Level support

What You Need

  • Experience on similar position
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows / Linux, etc.)
  • Ability to solve technical problems
  • "Can do" attitude for given tasks, inquisitiveness, eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and well organized
  • Good communication skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
  • Client-oriented approach, empathy and detail-oriented
  • Readiness to do shift work
  • Good command of English is essential, German an advantage
  • Technical education (nice to have)
  • Readiness to travel abroad is advantageous

  • Shift work for 1st level support (on call and e-mail duty)
  • Supporting customers from foreign offices
  • Acknowledge requests
  • Prioritizing and route requests to higher support levels
  • Resolving most common tasks with provided instructions
  • Creating and track tickets in the system
